Embossing produces raised characters similar to a license plate. This is useful in washdown applications where engraved or  stamped impressions may fill with water or wear away. Specify a message to label equipment or parts in a facility. The largest character  size will be used, up to 1/2" high.For oval plates, please specify up to three lines of text (six characters per line, including spaces).For  rectangular plates, please specify up to six lines of text (18 characters per line, including spaces).Aluminum plates are lightweight and  resist corrosion better than brass plates. Brass plates withstand abrasion and wear better than aluminum plates. 304 stainless steel  plates resist corrosion better than aluminum and brass plates
